With the recession in full swing these days, more and more people are loathe to spend money on healthcare, which has, even before the recession hit, been very costly. Thus, many have looked to alternative methods of combating diseases like cancer, and eliminating excess body fat.

It is a fact that traditional operations and medications for these kinds of conditions are very expensive, and not everybody can afford them. It is a good thing though, that alternative means to fight these conditions are available, which have been proven my many and are much more affordable, making it accessible to much more people.

Green tea is one of those remedies that has been time tested throughout many old civilizations, particularly by the Chinese and other eastern cultures. Green tea has proven to have many anti-oxidant qualities, which cleanse the body of toxins and other harmful elements.

Understanding the Type II Diabetes Statistics

In 1880, there are only about 2.8 cases of diabetes per 100,000 persons. The rate rose to about 29.7 in 1949. However, in that same year, another report says that there are only 16.4 cases of diabetes per 100,000 people. No one can’t tell which statistics is correct because at that time, there is neither Type I nor Type II diabetes—only diabetes.
